PHILLIES SCHEDULE

Every day, I have the same burning question:
“Are the Phillies playing?”
Now, I can simply pull out my trusty The Official (Not Actually Official) Philadelphia Phillies 2024 Back-Half Schedule to see if and who we play. Riveting stuff here. Even when the Phillies lose, print always wins
Last year, I made a more illustrative Eagles schedule that was meant to be a bit more energetic and bold. I wanted this schedule to hit you like a Brian Dawkins tackle. I focused on creating unique type solutions and crude yet exciting logo replications that were based on a loose, chaotic grid. *Future 2026 Seth Interjecting Here: In retrospect, this season was just about as loose and chaotic as this schedule.* I find joy in projects like these. While nothing feels better than a new brand launching after months or even years of work, these quick hits satisfy a more improvisational design urge, making decisions on the fly, trusting your gut, and making something that looks as fun as creating it was. I try to walk the line as much as possible and remind myself that the grid is just as helpful as it is constraining. I believe that it is important to satisfy both sides of my design brain and heart.
